Mike Campbell-Jones is a leading designer of paramotor wings and an engineer. He is the founder of Paramania, one of the best-known brands in the paramotoring world. For over 25 years Mike has also directed and competed in international FAI (Federation Aeronautique Internationale) competitions and he and his two sons have gathered a substantial following and are influential trend setters. Forest Air will use Mike's reputation to bring thousands of paramotor pilots into meaningful projects on a voluntary basis.

Founder

Dominique Grare We’re thrilled to have Dominique Grare as our Treasurer! She has supported Forest Air since the beginning With her bubbly spirit and deep love for nature, she brings both warmth and dedication to Forest Air. Passionate about protecting forests, she ensures our finances stay on course while keeping our mission alive.

Treasurer

Sedat Yagiz has extensive experience in running non-profits, he brings focus and expertise to Forest Air. Thrilled to join the organisational team, he is committed to supporting our mission with precision and dedication.

Secretary

Dr Oli Whaley  Chair Rainforest Concern, Research Associate Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh (RBGE), Research Associate Royal Botanic Gardens Kew (RBGK), Science strategy advisor to Forest Air. Oli has been involved in a number of international sustainable reforestation projects over the last 30 years. He also advises for some leading UK supermarket brands on organic food quality and procurement programs. Oli's knowledge is far reaching and speaks for itself - his role as the main hub of Forest Air linking with the scientific community is invaluable.

Science strategy advisor

Pascal Campbell-Jones is something of a cult figure in paramotoring. Over the years he has been at the forefront of the sport, firstly as a leading British team competitor, then as the face of Paramania Powergliders. He later went on to launch Parabatix, the equivalent of Red Bull air race for paramotors, working closely with the worlds best pilots and organizing events worldwide. He also launched "We are the Rovers", an award winning film series in conjunction with AH studio, later going on to help create Red Bull TV series "Sky Trippers". Pascal brings his expertise to Forest Air helping to recruit pilots and introduce Forest Air to a wide audience through media and the flying community.

Pilot team leader

Justin Moat  Head of special analysis department at Kew Gardens, Justin brings to Forest Air his rich technical expertise as an advisor. He currently liaises between the scientific community and pilots giving us direction on types of data to collect and how best it can used to contribute to the needs of our forests.

Former Organisation Members

Ron McCullagh is an investigative filmmaker. He began at the BBC and then founded his own production company 28 years ago, Insight News TV (latterly) Insight TWI. He has produced and exec produced many investigations in challenging places and trained 100s of journalists to make their own films. He has won a Bafta and 2 Emmys.

Founding member

Emilie Blanchin  has worked as a freelancer for events agencies for 20 years. She began by producing corporate events in France and abroad. Now, she works more on the ground where she manages technical teams and logistic needs at specific events, as well as being the general cue caller on stage. She has travelled widely and is especially interested in Forest conservation in collaboration with local teams.

Former treasurer

Sarah Fourcheraud is a language teacher. She works with science students in universities and translates scientific papers. She has developed teaching methods used within the French education system and also trains teachers to teach second languages.

Former Secretary

Benoit Planquart is an international Energy Executive, he has worked with governments and Energy companies in Europe and overseas. He has a track record of combining vision and implementation capabilities and negotiating skills. In parallel he has developed an innovative, local permaculture gardening cooperative solution in France. He is also very experienced in project management and logistics. And has been involved in many projects in Africa

David Chopin  Innovative project advisor for Forest Air, David brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. Advising the board in its future as an association and SCIC structure moving forward.
